Heirloom (2020)

Photographs of my twin sister dancing, dressed up in my mother's saree, that she brought with her to my father's home when she married him 30 years ago. Creating art in my house has been a form of inheritance from the women in my family. Through this photograph, I wanted to resurrect past joys that are passed down through objects in the family.
